I don't drive and we don't have a car, so once a month/2 months I order the bulk heavy stuff and load up the freezer, usually from Asda or I go to Iceland and have it delivered. Never had any problems. And in all fairness i've never heard from anyone I know of any major problems.

That is another option. However I don't really want to spend time at a neighbours cooking when I would rather be at home with the kids. Besides I expect their ovens will be in full use.

I saw Nigella Lawson cooking ham by boiling it in coke. I think she said it was a Southern American recipe.
Usually we would maybe boil a ham to remove some of the salt and then slap it in the oven with honey and mustard and maybe some cloves stamped into the skin. Chances are it will be dry though.

Well thats understandable. It goes without saying that you take a chance when using Ebay to purchase.
